Finally a much awaited gadgets release date is out. Just a week before Apple took a step ahead by releasing iPad 2 in Indian Market. Now get ready to experience the next versions of Galaxy Tabs.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 inches tablets had a release date in mid April before Apple’s iPad 2. But due to some unknown issues it got delayed by Korean Manufacturers.

Both the versions of next generation Galaxy tablets are set to hit Indian market in next month for Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 28,000 respectively.

In a recent interview for the daily newspaper Business Standard, Samsung Mobile India Head, Ranjit Yadav said,

“We will launch the 10-inch tablet PC at around Rs 35,000 and the 8-inch device will be priced around Rs 28,000. While the tablet PC market today stands at around 25,000 units a quarter, we expect it to grow exponentially here on.”

The pricing seems to be pretty decent, but it is still unclear that this pricing is for 3G version or WiFi only versions. I think, it is for the WiFi only versions, as the 3G version of original Galaxy Tab was priced at INR 38,000 at the time of launch last year.
