The first question which comes to everyone when they hear Google TV is what is it? Is it a TV like Sony, LG etc?

Wiki says,

“Google TV is a software platform for set-top boxes and HDTV based on Google Android operating system and co-developed by Google, Intel,Sony and Logitech.”

As anticipated, Google TV will have fewer user restrictions than current systems. It will have a web browser that will allow users to search through the Web and video content just similarly to desktops and mobile phones.

Do not want to miss Gossips? Yes i agree that these Gossips will be fun sometimes. It is one of the Sony Television Channel embedded in Google TV.

4. Facebook

Well I seriously agree that we miss lot of fun on Facebook while watching TV and even vice versa is also true! Well here Google TV has both side by side. Google says “Watch and Chat”.

5. HULU Tv

6. Media player

Media player application may not need because Google TV itself possess a media player. But with advanced search features such as lyric search, Meridian’s app collection can leverage the perks Google TV will likely offer.

7. Rhapsody

Using your TV to listen to music is nothing new, but Rhapsody’s Android app has its own benefits.  If you already have a Rhapsody subscription, accessing your saved music library and preferences is simple through Google TV.

8. Twitter

Google TV is mainly concentrating on the Social Networking sites as more than 80% of world’s population spend most of their time in Networking. As Twitter recently launched its own official Android app, is still focused on social networking.

9. DirecTV

With DirecTV all the search program will be easier. This application allows permisa to share some content, social media, and other services.
