Diwali, the festival of lights, is a holiday happily celebrated all over India. Indians celebrate this as a start of new year. It is a holiday similar to that of Christmas for others. During this festival, we wear new clothes, tidy our houses and decorate it with all kinds of lights, and lastly burn crackers (not recommended though).
The main purpose why I’m writing this post is to let my friends (who are residing on the other part of the world) understand why we celebrate Diwali and what does it actually mean to us.
