Welcome back to Tech18.com,if you have multiple google talk accounts and you may want to run multiple instances of google talk at once. Here’s how to do it.Many users including me like to have several different personalities ;-)

By default Google talk will allow you to run only one isnatant at a time.Here’s how to get around it :)

If you installed google talk to the default location, you can easily create a shortcut to this setting. Follow the below steps :

  • Right-click on the desktop
  • Select New
  • Select Shortcut
  • Paste this into the text box: "c:program filesgooglegoogletalkgoogletalk.exe" /nomutex
  • Name it whatever: Google Talk Multiple, etc.
  • Click Finish
